This riped (70% Mourvedre, 20% Grenache, 10% Alicante) is dark red with brown nuances on the rim.
In the nose a wonderful bouquet of sandal wood, cherry and a hint of vanilla.
On the palate cherry, spices and a nice interplay of vanilla and sandal wood.
Medium to full bodied and well-balanced. Drink: 2012-2019.

Week 31: Château de Pibarnon Bandol blanc AOC 2011
A white made from 40% Clairette, 30% Bourboulenc and 30% Viognier is pale yellow in colour with a light bouquet of apple and lime.
On the palate the same aromas supplemented by melon with a shallow, but long aftertaste.
Medium bodied and light and riped acidity.

Week 30: Dominio Dostares Estay Tinto DO 2010
This prieto picudo is cerise in colour.
In the nose an intense bouquet with dark fruits as prelude, later wood and vanilla.
On the palate soft with wood, cherry and an enhancing, opulent vanilla.
Medium bodied, astringent tannins and a long finish.
Very elegant. Good buy! Drink: 2012-2019.

Week 29: Domaine Lafage Cuvée Authentique AOC 2011
The cuvée authentique (40% Syrah, 40% Cargnan, 20% black Grenache) is ruby in colour.
In the nose intense aromas of flowers, cedar, cassis, mushrooms and moss.
On the palate very fruity with cherry and blueberry as well as dark chocolate and mushrooms in the aftertaste.
Medium bodied and drowning astringency. Very elegant.
Good buy! Drink: 2012-2020.

Week 28: Galardi Terra di Lavoro IGT 2010
This blend is made from Aglianico (80%) and Piedrosso (20%).
In the glass it appears dark purple, almost black.
In the nose intense aromas of currant, blueberry and a hint licorice.
On the palate blueberry, myrrh and dark chocolate with a long and satisfying aftertaste. After a certain time vanilla and marmalade.
Full bodied and powerful.
Now it is very reticent and requires considerable patience, but class and elegance shine through. It will be terrific.
