This blend (90% Godello, 10% Dana Blanca) is golden yellow in colour.
In the nose banana, vanilla and pineapple.
On the palate very complex with notes of banana, melon, vanilla, mineral aromas,
pineapple, starfruit and tropical fruits.
Medium to full bodied, good acidity, but too short. A rare jewel in Bierzo. Good buy! Drink: 2012-2019.

Week 37: Castel de Brames Serena Duras Rouge AOC 2009
This Duras is garnet red in colour.
A complex bouquet with sage, pepper, cherry and wood.
In the mouth opulent sage intermixed with pepper and cherry.
Very soft on the palate.
Full-bodied, well-integrated tannins and a long aftertaste.
Anything, but mainstream. Rare buy! 2012-2019.

Week 36: Château Ducru-Beaucaillou 2éme Grand Cru Classé AOC 1989 (vertical)
This riped (70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot) is still dark red with violet nuances.
In the nose flavours of cherry, dark fruits and toast. On the palate aromas of cherry, dark fruits and toast.
Medium bodied and well-integrated tannins. Drink: 2012-2020.

This Muskateller is pale yellow in colour.
In the nose an expressive bouquet of mandarin, lemon and a hint of banana.
On the palate intense and artful with mandarin and peach. Medium bodied, racial acidity and a long finish.
Drinkable for approximately one week.
